Did you know:
  • Most of the increase in global temperatures since 1950 has been caused by human activity.
  • Average sea level is expected to rise between 0.5 and 1.5 metres before the end of the century.
  • Coral reefs are being destroyed
  • The 20 warmest years on record have been in the past 22 years
  • About Us

My name is Habiba Morsy, a driven college freshman who simply realized the threatening and dangerous potential of the global warming crisis. I created this platform to make it easier for young ambitious activists to take real-world actions for a genuine change, and educate all generations about the climate crisis. Here you will find all the helpful resources to be a changemaker. Give EARTH a chance!

    Why is Climate Change happening?

Humans—more specifically, the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions we generate—are the leading cause of the earth’s rapidly changing climate. Greenhouse gases play an important role in keeping the planet warm enough to inhabit. But the amount of these gases in our atmosphere has skyrocketed in recent decades. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxides “have increased to levels unprecedented in at least the last 800,000 years.” Indeed, the atmosphere’s share of carbon dioxide—the planet’s chief climate change contributor—has risen by 40 percent since preindustrial times.

What are the effects of Climate Change ?

  • Change Will Continue Through This Century and Beyond
  • Temperatures Will Continue to Rise
  • Frost-free Season (and Growing Season) will Lengthen
  • Changes in Precipitation Patterns
  • More Droughts and Heat Waves
  • Hurricanes Will Become Stronger and More Intense
  • Sea Level Will Rise 1-8 feet by 2100
  • And more...
